That's really cool... especially if it cuts down on the amount of bags that just end up in the trash. Also, the diaper thing is pretty huge... so much goes into making those and they're not something you can (ahem) recycle (at least not that I know of). But taking that a step further and using old-fashioned washable cloth diapers would be even better. That's what my mom did!

kopper's last blog post..The Desperate Hour #17

Re: TwIsTeD Earth Day Contest: The Finalists

Well heck, I'd be silly not to vote for myself now wouldn't I? :) I would really like to hear about the implementation of the backyard compost though. My grandparents had one and their garden was beautiful because of it.

abunslife's last blog post..Donate Life

Re: TwIsTeD Earth Day Contest: The Finalists

bunslife by a nose. I'm impressed with the shower. Composting I can probably handle, but I doubt I'll be buying a new vehicle soon, so I'll live vicariously.

AVD's last blog post..Pictures from Wall Ball

Re: TwIsTeD Earth Day Contest: The Finalists

I vote for abunslife - that takes some serious dedication to fill up a bucket to water the plants!

Melody's last blog post..Thoughts on the Ultimate Penalty?
