Aw suck! Eons ago I had to have 8 teeth pulled in one sitting (4 babies, 4 wisdom) so I was shot full of local and laughing gas. It didn't hurt at the time, but I can still remember the cracking noises - if I hadn't been high out of my mind on the gas I'm pretty sure I woulda kicked someone in the face or in the nuts. I was pretty bloody and sore for a couple of days, what with having like half my teeth gone.
This is the worst story I have ever heard. I had two wisdom teeth removed, but they put me under and I don't remember a thing. I can't believe the fire alarm went off, that's like the worst luck ever.
precisely why I have NOT gone to the dentist in like two years....and YES I have insurance. I just hate going that bad....crap. I'm sooooo sorry this was so bad for you. Hopefully you got some good drugs for afterwards?
I think I have to get a root canal because of a cracked tooth and I am not happy about that. No idea how I managed to crack my tooth. It happened right before I left the country. I saw my dentist and he said I will probably need a root canal. Now I am getting ready to return to the US and face the dentist again.

I had one pulled about 2 months ago. It was a root canal tooth I had lost the crown from and damaged the rest of the tooth... It was horrible, but my grandmother had left me money at the beginning of the year, so fortunately I was out during the procedure. But I have a cracked one on the other side, and they want to do 2 crowns to make a bridge over the missing one they just pulled. And next time I don't think I'll be paying to be out, and I'll surely remember this story, since I'm already terrified! How awful, I hate the dentist. and wwill totally panic too!
