They passed them along to my dad when he reached adulthood, and he dragged me to my first game when I was 8.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I was hooked.  He and I attended every home game together from that first one when I was only eight years old until he passed away when I was 20.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It was the only thing he and I had in common and really the only time he and I spent together.
