Hey, if I did this, I'd look ridiculous, as my natural complexion borders on pasty. I'd love to have me some nice dark brown skin. I have a lot of India friends (as I travel there), and I am so jealous of their skin! I mention my pasty pale complexion and they all laugh...and it's not the laugh of jealous people. No. It's the laugh of, "We're so glad you mentioned something. We thought perhaps you didn't know how pale you are!"
I've been called the whitest white girl ever. I mostly just burn. My nose is the worst - burns instantly. I've been afraid for years that I'll get nose cancer and it will fall off and then I'll be all noseless and gross.
I've heard good things about LOW doses of mystic tan type stuff.
Call it growing up/maturing/becoming more comfortable with myself. . . but after years of tanning salons and sunless tanners, I finally accepted my pale skin. And I convinced myself that it is complimented by my dark hair. And I actually half way believe that.
